Employers register workers and pay on the FOMEMA portal, then choose a panel clinic. From 25 May 2026 the fee is RM226.56 for men and RM237.36 for women, including SST. The exam is needed within 30 days of arrival and every year before permit renewal. Check a clinic’s panel status on the FOMEMA website, and read our FOMEMA guide for tests, results and appeals.
The employer must register the worker and pay on the FOMEMA portal first, choosing the clinic. Then the worker attends with their passport. Calling the clinic ahead is a good idea.
